IDC MarketScape Finds Industry Expertise and Ability to Provide Business Inference Critical to Success of Business Analytics IT Consulting and Systems Integration Vendors

May 31, 2012 – International Data Corporation (IDC) has released its 2012 MarketScape report profiling and ranking the leading providers in the worldwide business analytics IT consulting and systems integration (C&SI) services market. This analysis revealed a level of high capability in current offerings for business analytics services, but from a future strategy perspective, investment to provide a more robust service offering or delivery capability leveraging cloud in part separated the leaders from the major players. IDC MarketScape vendor analysis reports utilize a rigorous scoring methodology that produces a definitive assessment of each vendor’s current market capabilities and strategies for competing in the future.

IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Business Analytics IT Consulting and Systems Integration Services 2012 Vendor Analysis (IDC #234938) evaluates the offerings and prospects of 10 vendors relative capabilities. These providers were evaluated using detailed criteria that IDC identified as key factors contributing to vendor success in the worldwide business analytics CS&I services market. The vendors included in the analysis are Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, HP, IBM, Infosys, PwC, TATA Consultancy Services (TCS), and Wipro.
