Nitin is a Senior Market Analyst in IDC's Asia/Pacific Peripherals team, based in India. He joined IDCas a country analyst, peripherals and is responsible for tracking and analyzing the market trends in the dynamic large format printer market in India. He is also responsible for the quarterly market sizing and forecasting, and competitive analysis in the dynamic large format printer landscape. He also supports other IDC analysts and consulting teams.
Nitin has more than eight years of experience in primary market research in diverse sectors: organized retailing (CPG) and peripherals category. Prior to joining IDC, he worked with HP Global Analytics, Bangalore in their Imaging & Printing Group where his role included working on hardware market share reporting, data analysis, presentation, new models segmentation and providing shipments’ guidance to external vendors. Prior to working with HP, Nitin has worked with Symphony Services; Bangalore for Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) wherein he was involved in the study of weekly, monthly and quarterly store and panel data collected by IRI for the US market and analyzing it.
Nitin holds Master's Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing from ICFAI Business School, Bangalore, India. He also holds bachelor’s in Instrumentation engineering from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, India.
