Sharon Cheng is a Market Analyst for IDC's Asia/Pacific Imaging, Printing and Document Solutions group. Based in IDC Malaysia, Sharon leads the Large Format Printer Research Program across the Asia/Pacific region. In this role, she leads the team on the quarterly market analysis and forecast for the large format printer research. Besides that, Sharon also supports the quarterly research and analysis for Hong Kong consumables market.

Prior to her current role, Sharon worked on Malaysia's Hardcopy Peripherals research for the monthly and quarterly market updates, analysis and forecast, as well as actively collaborated with local and Southeast Asian analysts for researches on POS printers, used copier, enterprise channel barometer, and CISS study.

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management, majoring in Marketing, from Northumbria University, Newcastle that completed in KDU University College Malaysia.
