Pricing Strategies
Pablo Rivera is a Research Analyst contributing to IDC’s Pricing Evaluation and IT Advisory Tools services. Mr. Rivera is responsible for analyzing and tracking commodity IT markets with a focus on PC’s, portables and x86 servers. In addition, Mr. Rivera aids clients in assuring price competitiveness and best-in-class pricing for initial acquisitions and subsequent IT hardware purchases through application of the SmartIndex methodology. The SmartIndex price assurance methodology is regarded as a routine best-practice for Fortune 1000 corporations and government entities, and drives measurable savings within global sourcing and procurement organizations.

Before joining IDC in 2010, Mr. Rivera served as a Financial Consultant & Project Manager for Intellaprice, LLC. There, his primary responsibilities were reporting and analyzing pricing models for the QSR market.

Mr. Rivera holds a B.S. degree in Business Economics from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
