Matthias Zacher joined IDC Central Europe in April 2011 as a senior consultant. He is responsible for examining trends and industry developments in the extended enterprise applications market and the IT services market in Germany and Switzerland and coordinates and conducts consulting projects.

Zacher has gained experience over the past 10 years in information technology and market research.

Before joining IDC, Zacher was senior advisor with Experton Group. Prior to this, he was a consultant at Meta Group Germany for local software and services providers.

Zacher holds a degree from the Humboldt University of Berlin in information sciences and history.
