Matthew Marden
Senior Research Analyst, Telecoms & Networking, Central and Eastern Europe

Matthew Marden joined IDC in 2011 as a senior research analyst in the Telecommunications Group. His research focuses on telecommunications services, software, and business models, concentrating on emerging EMEA markets.

Prior to joining IDC, Marden worked for two years in the Central & Eastern European research team of an international commercial property consultancy. Marden also worked as an attorney for a law firm in Washington, D.C., where he represented a financial services company in antitrust litigation.

Marden holds a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and a BS in international politics from Georgetown University. In addition to his native English, Marden speaks Czech.
