Serine Hooi is a Research Manager with IDC’s Asia/Pacific Client Devices team. She is involved in building IDC’s successful research tracker programs and producing core market data used across all of IDC's Asia/Pacific research reports and consulting projects.
Based in Malaysia, Serine leads the Asia Pacific Quarterly PC Monitor Tracker. In this area, she is responsible for working closely with IDC country analysts from the region to track the PC Monitor market. Serine sizes up the market and forecasts upcoming changes to develop a comprehensive quarterly tracker.
Prior to joining IDC, Serine was a Sales Compensation Measurement Analyst with Hewlett-Packard Malaysia where she was involved in preparing monthly sales commission reports, tracking and analyzing sales performance and yearly quota deployment activities. Before HP, Serine was a Customer Fulfillment Administrator responsible for preparing various sales contracts and booking sales orders for Australia and New Zealand customers at Lenovo Malaysia. On top of that, she was involved in training new hires and was engaged in various new projects in the company.
Serine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of East London, UK.
