Amit Dalal is a Research Manager at IDC's Asia/Pacific Enterprise Computing Group. Based in Singapore, Amit is responsible for the quarterly market sizing, competitive analysis, market segmentation by vertical industries and business segments, as well as channel dynamics impacting enterprise servers and workstations in the region.

Prior to joining IDC, Amit worked in IDC India as a Manager for Computing Products Research, where he was responsible for the local enterprise servers and workstations quarterly tracker programs, and various custom projects.

Amit holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and a Masters of Business Administration from Maharshi Dayanand University, India. He also holds a Diploma in Statistics from Panjab University, India.
