Mira Perry is Senior Analyst, Software Channels Research in IDCs Software Business Solutions Group. Ms. Perry provides analysis of and guidance on the ISV, SI, and VAR channel programs of global software vendors. She also examines the trends that impact software vendors and their channel partners including new partner types and emerging business models.
In her time at IDC, Ms. Perry has consulted with major and emerging software vendors on the building and restructuring of their global channel strategies. Her current research includes a comprehensive review of major software reseller and ISV programs.
Ms. Perrys business experience includes roles in business development, operations, marketing and public relations. After four years in the pharmaceutical industry, Mira transitioned to the technology industry where she spent over ten years leading global and regional initiatives for IBM and Microsoft. Her multi-national work experience has included both direct and channel sales models, most recently leading breadth partner strategies and channel loyalty programs at Microsoft Canada.
Ms. Perry holds undergraduate degrees from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Graduate Certificates from UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University. She is currently writing her masters thesis to complete a graduate degree at Harvard University. Mira Perry cheers for her beloved Tar Heels from IDCs Toronto office.
