Ali Zaidi is a senior research analyst for IDC's Project-Based Services research. In this role, Mr. Zaidi is responsible for executing field research, and custom research projects for IDC's IT Consulting and System Integration research program.
Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Zaidi worked as a research analyst at Technology Business Research, Inc. (TBR), where he authored syndicated reports published on various sections of the IT industry including professional services and hardware. The reports included in-depth analysis of high tech firms in terms of company financials, go-to-market strategies, acquisition and partner strategies, customer and vertical market strategies, and corporate business models. In addition, Mr. Zaidi developed financial models, evaluated business models, provided financial analysis and market intelligence for custom research projects on the IT professional services industry for clients such as IBM, Accenture, and CSC.
Prior to joining the IT market research field, Mr. Zaidi worked as a software engineer at Avaya Inc.
Mr. Zaidi holds a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance and Project Management from Northeastern University. He also holds a Master?s in Computer Systems Engineering from Northeastern University, with a concentration in Software Design and Network Security.
