Alexandre Vargas joined IDC Brazil in August 2007, to develop studies and analyses about servers and storage markets in Brazil. During the development of his career in IDC, he also started to support and accomplish customized studies and consultancy projects related to the corporate IT market in the infrastructure area.
Now Alexandre is part of the enterprise solutions Brazilian team which accomplishes studies of servers markets, storage, software and professional IT services regularly, besides demand custom projects, brand perception, trends and specific consulting projects in these markets.
Before joining IDC Brasil, he worked for Arcelor Mittal, the largest multinational company of steel and manufacturing segment in the world. In this period, Alexandre worked in the marketing area, developing market studies, forecasts and result analysis, among others. Before joining the Arcelor Mittal group, he worked for Banco Bradesco, the largest Brazilian private bank, in the endomarketing area, taking part of internal communications projects, aiming to maintain the employees of his department informed about the actions and projects of the Bank and motivated.
Alexandre is has a Bachelor´s degree in Corporate Administration from Unifieo Academic Centerand a post-graduation course in Marketing from Mackenzie Presbyterian Institute. He has several extension courses in Marketing from the Superior School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM), mainly in relationship marketing and research areas.
