Boris Gulidov
Consulting Manager, Telecoms & Networking, Russia and CIS

Boris Gulidov joined IDC Moscow in 2007. In his current role as Consulting Manager for Information and Communication Technology Markets, he is responsible for the research, consulting, project management, and business development activities in Russia and CIS countries.

Prior to IDC, Gulidov worked for a leading Russian provider of telecoms services, where he managed commercial projects and supervised market research and business development assignments. He has also held managerial and consulting positions with local and international telecoms service providers, as well as with a leading manufacturer of fiber optic equipment in Russia in the capacity of Deputy Managing Director. Before that he was employed by A.T. Kearney, a leading international management consultancy, where he was engaged in assignments for international multilateral development institutions, major multinationals and Russian companies, and managed the Information and Market Research Center.

Gulidov graduated from the Military University (area studies, foreign languages), Higher Commercial Management School (foreign economic activities) in Moscow, and Swinburne University of Technology (business administration) in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to his native Russian, he speaks English, Arabic, and basic French.
