Margaret Adam is principal analyst for the IDC Middle East, Africa, and Turkey (IDC MEA) IT services research program, where her primary responsibility is to develop a body of research and thought leadership around business and IT services, cloud computing, and emerging technology trends in the region. Additionally, she develops and contributes to IDC MEA's IT services report series and forms part of IDC's global analyst team for cloud computing. Previously, Adam held the position of research director within IDC MEA's IT services research program, where she successfully led a number of custom and syndicated research activities and managed a team of analysts dedicated to IT services research in the region. Adam also led IDC MEA's cloud computing research program.

Prior to joining IDC, Adam worked in product management positions in multinational vendor, systems integrator, and distribution environments and has garnered extensive sales and product marketing expertise relating to all channels of the IT industry.
