As a research manager for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (CEMA), Jiri Helebrand covers the server market in the region, analyzing and compiling market data related to the IDC EMEA server trackers. In addition to standard research, he is also active in IDC’s custom research and consulting engagements.

Helebrand has been with IDC since 2006. Prior to taking on his current role, he was responsible for primary and secondary research relating to the server, PC, and disk storage systems markets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Before joining IDC, Helebrand worked at GfK Praha, participating in consumer research projects in the finance, telecommunications, and retail sectors.

He holds a master's degree in economics and management from the University of Economics in Prague. In addition to his native Czech, he speaks English.
