Adrian Dominic Ho is a Principal at IDC's Asia/Pacific Communications and Services Research Group. Based in Singapore, and for some parts of the year in Montreal, Adrian leads a team of analysts covering telecommunications, Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C), cloud services, enterprise networking, ICT managed and cloud services research for the region. His areas of specialization include analyzing major telecom service providers and ICT vendors in this industry, working closely with them to identify emerging trends, as well as providing market projections and groundbreaking insights. Adrian has also executed numerous high profile projects, including identifying new channel and partnership opportunities, pricing strategies, and business models for emerging and fast growing ICT markets.

Adrian also co-leads Mobility Practice for IDC Asia Pacific. He will drive key research in this highly complex and emerging area that involves a wide ranging ecosystem of multiple vendors, including mobile hardware, middleware, security, applications and professional services. Adrian will also shape discussions on mobility for IDC's CIO customers and their business leader.

Adrian is a regular speaker in industry and IDC events. He is sought after by the media, and is often quoted in regional and local publications such as Asia Computer Weekly, Singapore's Business Times, South China Morning Post, and Wireless World, for his insights into the enterprise networking market. He has also been interviewed on CNBC, Bloomberg and several local radio programs.

Prior to joining IDC, Adrian was a Market Analyst at Daratech (Cambridge, USA), where he specialized in the CAD, CAE, CAM, and PLM industries. His responsibilities included tracking over 250 companies to understand the dynamics of these organizations, and to identify and forecast trends in the industry. Before Daratech, Adrian worked at British Standards Institution (London, United Kingdom), PricewaterhouseCoopers (Singapore), and Salomon Smith Barney (Stamford, USA).

Adrian holds a BSc in Economics from University College London (UCL) and a Masters of Economics from Boston University. He is fluent in both English and French. Adrian has also successfully completed 6 full Ironman races across the world.
