Joining IDC in December 2001, Kresimir Alic is responsible for covering fixed and mobile communications services in Central and Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States. In addition to conducting primary research, Mr. Alic authors studies that include market-sizing and forecasts for mobile communications services markets. The studies cover a range of technologies (analogue, GSM, CDMA, UMTS), services (voice, data), and business models (enterprise mobility). Mr. Alic also researches Internet access services in Croatia.

Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Alic worked at Puls, a leading Croatian media, market, and public opinion research agency, where he analyzed the quality of services in the Croatian financial institutions. He also worked in the marketing department of the retail chain Konzum on market basket analysis.

Mr. Alic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Information Management from the University of Economics in Zagreb.
