Chris Murphy manages IDC's IT Advisory Tools program, providing valuable data analysis, consulting, and client interaction to many of IDC's corporate and government clients. He has helped build the program into the industry recognized standard for price benchmarking and price negotiation. Mr. Murphy also works closely with the IT Advisory Tools staff as the key contact for all IT hardware procurement services, working with an ever-growing Fortune 1000 customer base. Mr. Murphy has been a recipient of IDC's Product Quality Award as well as numerous letters of commendation on analyst support and analysis. Prior to joining IDC in 1998, Mr. Murphy served as an analyst for Mid-America Research Institute. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan.
