Lily Lin is a Research Manager at IDC's Asia/Pacific End-User Research & Statistics (ERS) Group. Based in Australia, Lily is responsible for managing demand-side survey projects. This includes questionnaire reviews, methodology and sample frame design, quality control of fieldwork data, coordination with external survey houses, data processing, and statistical analysis.
Lily first joined IDC in 2002, where she was with IDC Beijing’s Personal Systems Group. She later progressed into the cross products team. In 2005, Lily relocated to IDC Australia as an analyst with the hardware team, focusing on PC and monitor research. She joined IDC Asia/Pacific in 2007, bringing with her rich knowledge in product domains, and the expertise to improve the end-user research quality. Prior to joining IDC, Lily was a Technical Support Engineer with Intel, where she provided ecosystem knowledge support to Intel’s customers.
Lily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Beijing University of Technology and a Masters of Computer Technology from China Science and Technology University.
