Linus Lai

Team: Consulting Services

 

Linus Lai is a Research Director at IDC’s Asia/Pacific Services Research Group. He leads the Asia/Pacific IT Services Tracker research, which includes Project-Oriented Services and Outsourcing and Support Services across 13 countries in the region. In this role, he delivers market as well as competitive insights across the professional IT services market in Asia/Pacific covering more than 200 service providers in the region.

Linus has been the recipient of three awards in IDC for country, regional, and quality contributions. He is a founding member of IDC Asia/Pacific's Emerging Technology Advisory Council. In his previous role as the Head of Research in IDC South East Asia research, he developed and grew IDC's presence in the region.

Prior to joining IDC, Linus worked as an Account Manager in the BFSI sector in CSC.

Linus holds a Masters of Science from the University of Lincoln, UK and is based in Sydney.
