Brian Clarke, Program Vice President of IDC's Pricing Evaluation and Leasing Evaluation Services, is responsible for managing a portfolio of research products and a research team that follows the value of IT equipment. His services encompass the Pan-American, European and Asia/Pacific markets and are used by all of the major IT vendors to assist them in establishing successful price and product positioning strategies, by dozens of lessors and financial institutions to predict the residual risk of their portfolios and by hundreds of corporate IT buyers and lessees who want to make informed purchase and lease decisions. Mr. Clarke is an advisor and manager in product development, sales and marketing, and financial management, as well as research content and analysis. He also serves on IDC's management committee.
Mr. Clarke designs and coordinates a variety of custom and special research projects and services that focus on the physical and financial management of IT equipment. His opinions are often quoted in numerous business and daily newspapers including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily, Business Week and The New York Times. His recent speaking engagements include the Equipment Leasing Association Annual Convention and the Information Technology Resellers Association Convention.
Mr. Clarke is an 11-year veteran of IDC and holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
