This IDC study expatiates on the current status of the China-based offshore software development market as well as vendor ranking in 2011. China is gaining more market share of the offshore software development market, IDC predict this market will have stable growth in the next five years. Due to the fierce competition in the offshore market, more and more companies have recognized that value-added services and global IT support have become key concerns for clients. Vendors improve their delivery capacity by deep-diving into the industries and growing their overseas onsite teams. At same time, technology innovation and new delivery models based on cloud are the important focus areas for vendors.
